  1. Shillington Under Fives Vacancies Shillington Under Fives are expanding their childcare and launching before/after school clubs from January 2013. We are looking for a number of highly motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team. Play Workers (2 positions) We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to assist the play leader in providing a caring, secure environment, through individual attention and group activities, and to organise appropriate range of leisure activities for children between the ages of 2yrs 6 months and 9 years old. The successful candidates will have a recognised and relevant Level 2 qualification e.g. NVQ level 2 in playwork or be working towards completion. They should have an understanding of the principles of play work and a commitment to the provision of high quality childcare. There are 2 permanent positions available and candidates need to be available for up to a max of 4 weeks within school holidays. Hours: From 12hrs per week to cover shifts between 7.15am to 9.15am and 3.15pm to 6.15pm. Salary: Competitive based on experience. Closing date for applications is 14th October 2012. Play leader We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to lead our before and after school clubs between the hours of 7.15am to 9.15am and 3.15pm-6.15pm. The successful candidate will have previous experience of caring for or working with children aged 0-9 in a voluntary or paid capacity and will hold a recognised Level 3 qualification ideally in play work qualification. It would be desirable although not essential that candidates have experience in line managing staff, including involvement in induction, supervision and appraisals and knowledge of the EYFS in relation to out of school provision. Health and safety / First Aid certificates areessential. This is a permanent position and candidates need to be available for a max 4 weeks within school holidays. Hours: from 25 hours per week to full time. Salary: Competitive based on experience. Closing date for applications is 14th October 2012.
