  1. Loch Ness Monster For centuries people have been wondering what the monster that has been seen in Lake Loch Ness or if its just a myth. Jarred V.

  2. History of Nessie • Since 565 A.D. people have been wondering if there really is a monster hanging around the lake. • It is located in lake Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.

  3. More Background of Nessie • This monster is thought to be a long living Plesiosaurs. • The first recorded sighting of Nessie was in 565 A.D. when it is said that it bumped into the St. Columba. • Arthur Grant was motorcycling when he saw he claimed to see it and, R.K. Wilson’s photo (surgeon’s photo) was proven fake. Many more stories are told.

  4. Science Fiction Theories • One witness is W. Arthur Grant who in 1934 was motor cycling when he saw Nessie on the side of the loch and then it disappeared. • A kind of crazy theory is that Nessie is a long living prehistoric plesiosaurs that survived though all the years.

  5. Scientific Explanation • One of the ways skeptics believe that people saw an elephant from the traveling circus that was taking a swim. There are many other explanations. • The elephant could have had its trunk in the air and its back showing. • One photo (the surgeons photo) was proven a hoax when the man that helped build the platform in the picture admitted it.

  6. Your Reasoned Judgment • I believe that Nessie is not real and just a myth. • There is much more evidence that Nessie is not real than evidence that it is. • I agree with this side because there are other things that the witnesses could have seen like bird wakes, eels, elephants, seals, trees, resident animals, and many more.
