  1. The Relay Newsroom Summer 13/14 Shoalhaven Nowra 2014 Relay For Life 29-30 March 2014, Nowra Showground Relay Update Team Spotlight Bob’s Brigade’s Morning Tea Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! With less than 80 days to go until our Relay, we have 48 teams and 197 participants registered. Please remember to remind your family and friends to register now, as the $15 early bird prices end on 29 January! “This year, my extremely talented husband and best friend provided entertainment for guests whilst they sat back and enjoyed morning tea in a magnificent garden setting. We charged a $5 entry fee and held a number of fundraising activities throughout the day such as; balloon lucky dip, lucky door prizes, face painting, book stall, kids treasure hunt, silent auctions and guessing competitions. Our motto was "we can only ask, and they can only say no". We were overwhelmed with the generosity of local businesses, withthis year’s morning tea raising $2800. Following the morning tea we looked at what worked and what didn't and how could we improve next year’s event.” If you would like to know more, promote or share your fundraising ideas with the local community, contact our Relay team support on 4443 5565 or email them at relayforlife@bigpond.com This months leader is… Kids at our Relay Keep in mind that all kids need to be registered if they're attending our Relay and all under 18 kids will need to wear a wrist band with a parent’s mobile number clearly marked on the band in case of emergencies.
