  2. Bellwork 11/7/11 • Longer Bellwork Day!  Write for a full 10 minutes, please! • What makes someone an adult? Define “adult.” • Are you an adult, based on your definition? • How do you view “adulthood?”

  3. Assignments and Reminders • Tuesday:(FINISH NOTES?) Reading Day • If you haven’t already done it, put your PROPERLY SAVED AND TOTALLY APPROVED proposal into the Tomlinson Shared Folder by today! • Wednesday:Chapters 4-7 and Reading Assignment due at beginning of class • Two observations and inferences per chapter (total of 8) on your chart • Thursday:Quiz over literary criticism terms and concepts and Chapters 1-7 • No School Friday…BUT your homework for the weekend is to read Chapters 8-9 and add to your Observation and Inferences Chart (2 per chap/total 4)

  4. Observation/Inference Chart Your assignment this week is to note two observations PER CHAPTER of assigned reading, and to draw an EXTENDED inference about Holden or another character from that observation. 2 rows per chapter x 4 chapters = 8 total rows!
