Code Migration

On February 17, 2010, key updates and testing requirements for the CDF software migration were outlined. The 10K test matrix has been completed, with ongoing 100K tests and a focus on testing the top ntuple. Urgent updates include integrating a new Oracle client, assessing rootd support, and reviewing scripts due to missing include files. The project is ready for further testing, with distribution packaging completed. Stakeholders are encouraged to volunteer for testing and provide feedback on the recommended tools and known issues.

Non-Critical Upgrades: Oracle • Oracle instant_client 10.2.0.3 on fcdfbld5 for testing • D.Box suggested we rebuild with instant_client and test TrigSim++, ProductionExe with DB_DEBUG set to –1 • Some scripts need review: reference Oracle directory • Stntuple uses some include files not found in oracle_instant_client • No action yet 17-Feb-2010 5
