  1. All About Me Relating to the Book By Hailey Balzan

  2. Background I was born December 19th 2004 in Wellington. I lived in Royal Palm Beach, and when I was one I moved to North Port and that’s where I live now!

  3. Family I love my family. I have one brother and no sisters. My brother’s name is Kolton. He is seven years old. My mom is a vet and my dad is a firefighter. My mom’s name is Ilene and my dad’s name is Gaston. For fun we like to go places together like bowling or Kid Star and fun places. My family is awesome!

  4. Summer This summer I went camping at Turtle Beach for the Fourth of July. It was super fun! Then near the end of July I went on a cruise called the Carnival Breeze that went from Miami, to Key West, To the Grand Cayman Islands, to Mexico and back. The ship was huge and there were so many things to see and do. We went swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman! So yeah. My summer was pretty awesome.

  5. Hobbies In my spare time, I usually like to write stories, draw or play a game called animal jam. I like to write stories about animal characters that I make up, and I draw those characters a lot too. Animal Jam is an online game where you can create an animal and customize it and chat with your friends. Animal jam also gives science facts about animals, too. That’s how I stay in contact with my friends over the summer, but sometimes I Skype them too. That’s what I like to do outside of school.

  6. School My favorite subject in school is probably art. During free draw in art I love to express my feelings in drawing. Other times in art I create animal characters for my friends and I. It’s fun trying to draw a cat that matches your best friend’s personality. I also like to learn about new things in science. That’s pretty fun too. I like to do experiments about gravity, learn about the solar system, and one time I actually turned a flower’s petals a different color using colored water! So I think science and art are my favorite subjects.

  9. Social Studies Connections Nick saved the Florida Panther species by returning a cub to it’s mom. If he had not returned that cub to it’s mom that cub could have died.We want to save the Florida Panthers because if Florida did not have predators, all the small mammals would eat everything, and Florida’s beautiful environment would be ruined. That’s why we want to protect the predators of Florida, and the forests and jungles in it!
