12. GrowMax Potash Brine* Reservoir is located 6° south of the equator in the Sechura Desert. This hot windy climate makes the application of solar evaporation technology possible and recoveryof potashfrom the brine. The brine is pumped from multiple ponds as it becomes more concentrated due to evaporation until it crystallizes out of the liquid. From there, the potash is harvested & processed into solid potash.
