18. The Need for Training / Drill for ATC Controllers High Risk Area Preparing only a circular / manual is not enough. Training is needed such as simulated eruption drills.

19. AirTrafficController HAVE responsibilities to direct multiple aircraft BUT RARELY HAVE experienced on handling VA radar vectoring AND NEVER HAVE experienced simulated drills on transitioning from a normal traffic status to a pre-determined avoidance status.

High Risk Area – more training is needed Low Risk Area – less training is needed The need to educate & conduct simulated eruption drillsfor ATC controllers should be a high priority item.
