  2. Principles of Nurse Education Does it align to new models of delivery? Adhere to adult learning principles – engaging, inquiry vs. lecture? Ease of access for incumbents? Industry input into content?

BSN – Filling the gap • Many BSN students are practicing nurses. • Course offerings should be wide ranging enough that RNs can fill gaps in knowledge • Community based care • Clinical gaps (assessment) • Care management • Cap stone projects that serve individual and small group needs • While it must meet accreditation standards, there can be flexibility in offerings

  4. High Quality BSN On-line look not only for accreditation, but reputation and things like student loan default rate. WGU, Drexel Even high quality options should be reviewed for the suitability to the individual e.g. WGU learn at own pace, payment per semester

  5. Continuing Education Is it the same old same old or has it been aligned. Gerontology – vs. Resident Centered Care Is there a hands on component
