Capstone Year 3 Paper • Write a review paper summarizing clinical trials relevant to pharmacy practice • Recommended Option: • Write a practice paper which evaluates and summarizes published clinical trials which are relevant broadly or directly to the CPI plan / activities completed during CPI Year 1 and 2. • Alternative Option: • Write a review paper which evaluates and summarizes published clinical trials regarding a specific medication or pharmacy-related topic.

  3. Writing the Paper in Stages • Objective: Write an evidence-based review article on a relevant medication or pharmacy-related topic. • Start with searching the literature for clinical trials • Present and discuss literature search results • Draft purpose and study tables • Submit first draft • UF Reviewer feedback • Revise and resubmit final paper

  4. Capstone Paper Options* • RECOMMENDED: Write a pharmacy practice paper • Alternative Options: • Write an extensive review article • Write a drug therapy outcomes paper *Be sure to check Elearning Resources for the most current options before beginning the paper.

  5. Timelines: 5th-8th Semester • 5th Semester: Literature Search, present in class for facilitator feedback • 6th Semester: Submit Purpose Statement and Tables detailing Study Design and Results • 7th Semester: Submit First Draft • Note: See Deadlines for Submission • Feedback provided by UF central review • Check Turnitin report • 8th Semester: Revise and submit final paper; may present final paper in lieu of case

  6. 9th Semester: Graduation!
