  3. Download the application from here • Install the ProximityExplorer.apk • Accept all the permissions listed • Find Proximity Explorer after installation

  4. Login through Facebook Your FB credentials

  5. Home View of Proximity Explorer Layer button Category button Search Box Map View Current location button

  6. Home View Exploration--Categories Press Category button Pick a category (e.g. College & University)

  7. Home View Exploration—Layers I Press Layer button Pick a layer

  8. Home View Exploration—Layers II Press Layer button Pick a layer

  9. Home View Exploration--Search Press Search Box

  10. Explorer near a point of your interest • When you want to explore places other than your current location, you can center that location by Long Press that point on the map • When your current location is off the screen, you can re-center your current location by long press the current location button on the Map View

Detailed Venue Exploration—Basic Info Click the telephone number to make phone calls Click the url to visit the official website through a browser Basic Info of the Venue After you select a venue Click Map to see the Venue on native Google Map application A snippet from Wikipedia, click on More on Wiki to visit the wikipage through a browser Click to add the venue to your travel plan (You can add more places)
