Update on ARC Service Level Alliance: Enhancing Respite Care Models

The ARC Service Level Alliance (SLA) update from September 2012 outlines the two phases of improvement in respite care. Phase 1 focuses on restorative models, including capacity management principles, design advice, quality improvement ideas, and workforce development initiatives. Phase 2 will expand to encompass a broader vision based on the RCRI report for new residential care models. Key progress includes completed service specifications and an electronic booking system, with plans for focus groups and a proposal for funding to ensure proper implementation of pilot initiatives.
