  2. MICHAEL P. GUEVARA, P.L. EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • To apply for an Immigrant Visa (GREEN CARD) in the EB-1 category you need to have Extraordinary Ability in the Arts, Sciences, Education, Business or Athletics.

  3. MICHAEL P. GUEVARA, P.L. EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • You are able to Self-Sponsor and you do NOT need a U.S. Employer or Sponsor to be able to file your case for lawful permanent resident status. • As long as you will continue to work in your field of expertise you can qualify.

  4. MICHAEL P. GUEVARA, P.L. EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • You must be able to demonstrate that you have risen to the very top of your respective field. • Evidence will need to include proof of a major one-time achievement such as a Nobel Peace Prize, Academy Award, etc.

  5. MICHAEL P. GUEVARA, P.L. EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • If you do not have proof of a major one-time achievement then you will need to have evidence of AT LEAST 3 of 10 of the following: • Documentation of the applicant's receipt of lesser nationally or internationally- recognized prizes or awards for excellence in the field of endeavor;

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • Documentation of the applicant's membership in associations in the field for which classification is sought, which require outstanding achievements of their members, as judged by recognized national or international experts in their disciplines or fields;

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY •  Published material about the applicant in professional or major trade publications or other major media, relating to the applicant's work in the field for which classification is sought. Such evidence shall include the title, date, and author of the material, and any necessary translation;

  8. MICHAEL P. GUEVARA, P.L. EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • Evidence of the applicant's participation, either individually or on a panel, as a judge of the work of others in the same or an allied field of specification for which classification is sought;

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • Evidence of the applicant's original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business- related contributions of major significance in the field; • Evidence of the applicant's authorship of scholarly articles in the field, in professional or major trade publications or other major media;

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • Evidence of the display of the applicant's work in the field at artistic exhibitions or showcases; • Evidence that the applicant has performed in a leading or critical role for organizations or establishments that have a distinguished reputation;

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • Evidence that the applicant has commanded a high salary or other significantly high remuneration for services, in relation to others in the field; • Evidence of commercial successes in the performing arts, as shown by box office receipts or record, cassette, compact disc, or video sales.

EB-1 EXTRAORDINARY ABILITY • If you are in the United States you may be able to file the Immigrant Visa Petition and Adjustment of Status concurrently. • Your spouse and minor children can also file for their Immigrant Visas (Green Cards). • You are still able to file for other types of Immigrant Visa (Green Card) applications and are not limited to just this filing.
