On January 13, 2010, Ken Fagan from PEO-GES provided an update on advancements in the Metadata Registry (MDR) and the Enterprise Authoritative Data Source (EADS) initiatives. ADS Definition: A recognized or official data production source with a designated mission statement or source/product to publish reliable and accurate data for subsequent use by customers. An authoritative data source may be the functional combination of multiple, separate data sources.
