Comprehensive Equity Plan (CEP) N.J.S.A. 6A: 7 states that by November 5, 2004: All New Jersey public and charter schools must identify and correct all discriminatory and inequitable policies, programs, practices and procedures and show there are internal monitoring procedures in place to ensure continuing compliance. Sanctions for noncompliance may include loss of federal and state assistance as afforded under N.J.S.A. 6A: 7-1.9(f) and enforced under N.J.S.A. 18A: 55-2.

What makes Watchful i Different… • Allows reporting of specific problems to school officials. • Sends a report directly to the designated administrator. • Administrator MUST acknowledge receipt of the report. • Administrator MUSTvalidate the report and confirm the event and individual being reported. • The system collects data and compiles a variety of reports. • System can telephonically close school in an emergency or be used for other notifications.
