La eutanasia, es un términoque se origina del vocablogriego “eu”, quesignifica “buen” y tánatos, quesignifica “muerte”; en nombre del diosgriego del mismonombre. En otraspalabras, “buenamuerte”. En definición, es la acción que acelera la muerte de un paciente desahuciado, con su conocimiento o sin él, con la intención de evitarle sufrimientos.
