  2. Chocolate chip cookies are a favorite treat for people of all ages, but with out Ruth Wakefield the world might have have never tasted those tasty treats.

  3. Ruth was born in 1905. When she became an adult she bought a Tourist Lodge and named it Toll House Inn.

  4. Here is were she made meals and treats for guest.

  5. In 1930 Wakefield was mixing a batch of cookies. She discovered she was out of bakers chocolate. So she broke pieces up from a Nestles chocolate bar.She thought it would melt into the dough but that didn’t happen.

  6. Her suprising result when she removed the pan from the oven she discovered that she had made the worlds first Chocolate Chip Cookie.

  7. Ruth and her husband sold the Toll House Inn. And years later it burned to the ground. Ruth Died in 1977. But her tasty discovery live on forever
