  8. Week 4Quarterly financial reports are published. Exoptata shows 15% growth in profits. Stock prices jump to $18.Students may buy from broker for $18 or buy from shareholders for $17.

  9. Week 5Exoptata scientists publish trial results in Nature showing that toxins slow cancer growth by 23%. Stock prices soar to $34.Students may buy from broker for $34 or buy from shareholders for $33.

  10. Week 6A marine protected area was just created around the animal collection site. Stock prices drop to $30.Students may buy from broker for $30 or buy from shareholders for $29.

  11. Week 7A new slug, with a wider distribution area and more plentiful population, is found to contain a similar toxin. Prices rebound.Students may buy from broker for $35 or buy from shareholders for $34.

  12. Week 8Nudibranchia, a competing company, just went broke. Investors are looking to Exoptata for encouragement and growth. Stock prices jump to $50.Students may buy from broker for $50 or buy from shareholders for $49.

  13. Week 9Independent researchers filed claim against Exoptata for falsifying scientific reports. Stock prices crash to $1.
