Recruit Training. 26-hour orientation program – training is conducted in order to teach the Performance Objectives necessary to become a basically trained Young Marine who can succeed in school, at home, and in the Young Marine program, thereby becoming a quality citizen in society.

  1. Recruit Training • 26-hour orientation program – training is conducted in order to teach the Performance Objectives necessary to become a basically trained Young Marine who can succeed in school, at home, and in the Young Marine program, thereby becoming a quality citizen in society. • Learn general subjects such as history, customs and courtesies, close order drill, physical fitness, rank structure citizenship. • Training Attire – ALL recruits will be required to arrive to ALL recruit training events in grey sweats, white t-shirt, black physical training shorts, white socks, non-marking running shoes with a full water bottle and their recruit training guidebook. • Grooming and appearance – NO jewelry for any recruit training events. Males are required to have a fresh haircut upon arrival. Females are required to have their hair cut above the collar or worn in a low bun.
