Ilias Atwani Is A Canada Based Mining Engineering Professional Ilias Atwani is a well-accomplished Canada based mining engineering professional primarily known for his expertise in Mining Oriented Operational Analysis/Modeling: Surpac®, Whittle®, Talpac®; Programming: Matlab®, C/C++, VB; Management and Logistics: SAP®, JD Edwards®; and CAD Software like AutoCAD® (Amine & Promine), SolidWorks®, Silverscreen® (CAMP), 3D Reshaper®. Currently working in the mine operations department of a senior Canadian gold mining company as a Mine Operations Coordinator, Ilias is responsible for a wide range of tasks. Having worked with some of the top companies in the mining industry, he has the experience to successfully address even the most challenging situations. Going back to where he started, Ilias Atwani began his professional journey in the year 2008 as an intern in the mining engineering department of a Meknes, Morocco based company. During his internship, he assisted operators underground in their daily activities, and handled the equipment that was used underground under the supervision of experienced foremen and operators. Later, while working as the Mining Engineer — Underground Mines Supervisor for another well-known firm, Ilias was responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and their compliance with current Provincial & Federal regulations, and corporate policies. Additionally, he was responsible for production goals realization, and optimal fleet and workforce utilization, and was involved in the daily planning of the production activities for a team of 10-15 miners. Ilias Atwani has also interned with a renowned British-Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company in their Mining Engineering Department for more than six years. Some of the key responsibilities that he handled during his internship in the company included - establishing weekly schedules & planning; issuing drilling, loading and blasting plans; managing Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of excavated and blasted roc quantities; and taking
care of 3D design & Survey data processing, and other mining related operations.
