  2. Baiji • This Chinese dolphin weigh about 500 lbs. • They can get up to 8 ft. long. • The baiji are pale blue, grey, and white. • Baiji live around 25 years. • They eat freshwater fish. • The baiji is nicknamed the goddess of the Yangtze.

  3. Indus river dolphin • The Indus river dolphin weighs 150-200 lbs. • They are 7-8.5 ft. long. • Little is known about the Indus river dolphin. • The female Indus river dolphin is slightly larger than the male. • This is some of the little known facts of this dolphin.

  4. Orca • Male orcas weigh up to 22,000 lbs. The female weigh up to 16,500 lbs. • The female orca is 28 ft. long. The male is 32 ft. long. • Orcas are black and white. • Orcas live about 25 years. • They eat anything from fish to marine mammals to sharks.

  5. Bearded seal • The bearded seal weighs from 575-800 lbs. • They are 7-8 ft. long. • They bearded seal is dark brown and grey. • The bearded seal live about 25 years. • They eat arctic cod, shrimp, clams, crabs, and octopus. • A males song can be heard for 12 miles!

Guadalupe fur seal • The females weigh 110 lbs. and the males weigh 400 lbs. • The females are 5 ft. long and the males are 7 ft. long. • They are dark brown, black, tan and yellow. • They live about 17-20 years. • They eat squid, mackerel and lantern fish. • In the 1900s, these seals were thought to be extinct!

Hawaiian monk seal • They weigh 375-610 lbs. • They are 7.5 ft. • They are silvery grey, black, red, and green. • Hawaiian monk seals live about 25-30 years. • They eat fish, spiny lobsters, octopuses, and eels. • Hawaiian monk seals prefer warmer climates unlike other seals that prefer colder climates.

  8. There are still many other endangered species like the ringed seal, the Mediterranean monk seal, the Saimaa seal, and the spotted seal.
