2. Paul Revere was one of the key figures of the revolutionary movement. January 1st, 1735 was the day when he was baptized as stated in the church records. His father was named ApollosRivoire and his mother was named Deborah Hichborn. His father was an immigrated from France. 3. Later when he was nineteen years old his father died and he took over his fathers business. When Paul Revere was 21 he enlisted in the army to fight the French at Lake George, New York. He was a second lieutenant in the colonial artillery. Revere became politically active during the Stamp Act. Paul Revere ‘s Early Life

4. Paul Revere’s early family life When Paul revere was a child he had 11 brothers and sisters. His father put him in North Writing School because his father wanted him to be a silversmith just like him. When he was 13 years old he was a master in silversmithing.

5. Paul Revere’s later family life When he returned home he married Sarah Orne and they had eight children together. Then Sara Orne died on May 1773. The next October he married Rachel Walker. They also had eight children.

6. The reason why Paul Revere had his famous ride Paul Revere was a rider for the Boston Committee of Safety. His job was to carry information and letters all over Massachusetts. The day of April 18, 1775 British troops went to Boston to take the colonists supply ships at Concord. So Paul Revere was sent to warm the Americans troops there. Paul Revere rode to Lexington to tell Samuel Adams and John Hancock to flee.

7. What happened at Concord As Revere was riding to concord he was stopped and captured by British soldiers. Then he persuaded British troop of letting him free and it worked. He returned to Lexington to tell the Americans that the British are coming.

8. Where did he travel to deliver the information After traveling through Boston’s North End on foot and crossing the Charles River. Paul Revere began his horseback ride in Charlestown to Isaac Royall House and then Hancock Clark House in Lexington. Paul Revere received a message from Dr. Joseph Warren about one the movements of the British Army

9. During the ride Paul Revere left his house on foot and later began his horseback ride in Charlestown. At Isaac Royall House he had to warn the minutemen. He arrived in Lexington at midnight where Samuel Adams and John Hancock were at to warn them.

10. After the ride to Lexington After the Revolutionary War Paul Revere staid in Boston where he was crafting and siversmithing objects for his family and friends. Now he will be remembered as a excellent engraver and craftsman in silversmithing. Also his medals that he engraved are now used for prints on paper that is now highly popular today.
