  4. Services • As part of different activities the World Trade Center has been providing technologies and activities that help promoting and assisting trade activities between interested people

  5. Market Information • According to the Confederation of China World Trade Centers there are a multitude of trade and investment opportunities in the China market. • Some of the major sectors currently experiencing rapid growth are: processed food and beverages.

  6. Market Information • In Chinese business culture, conservative suits and ties in subdued colors are the norm. Bright colors of any kind are considered inappropriate. Shangai was selected since is a city with much more income per capita and also the fact of tourism and market introduction.

Global vs. Local Market • We analyze the impact of increased outside opportunities with this product vs. local competition and decided to research Shanghai's market in China instead of trading within our local market. We decide to go beyond with the support of the World Trade Center Nuevo Leon-UANL that has provided important sources in different stages of our journey.

  9. Stage 1: How This project was born • Tequila the dragon wants it was born as part of a competition made by the Youth Institute of Nuevo Leon and Coparmex. They made a business plan and went through different phases, then UANL Business Incubator and World Trade Center- Nuevo Leon helped us in selecting the city of Shangai in China to trade this product.

  10. Stage 2: WTC Nuevo Leon-UANL • During competition World Trade Center helped us in providing marketing information and redefining our business plan. • After competition World Trade Center continue helping us in introducing our product to China.

  11. Tequila ,the dragon now wants it • Now we are planning a Commercial mission to China which will provide better expectations for trading our product in this Foreign Market. We are also receiving support of Bancomext in order to establish our upcoming mission.

Experiences World Trade Center Nuevo Leon-UANL has experienced the fact that some small business and excellent ideas are coming from University students and we have promoted within the University and working together with our Business Incubator, so students can have access to resources and market information and business workshops.
