  5. Professionalism (cont’d) • Failure Policy: • Failure of a stage  allowed 1 remedial placement • The fail box  when warranted, check it off √ • Attendance: • Must complete all hours of placement (1000 hrs)

Professionalism (cont’d) • Students must successfully complete: • PDSB Workshop • CPR/First Aid • Immunization • Work Injury: • Covered by CSST & McGill Liability Insurance • 1) Notify supervisor • 2) Accident Report Form • 3) Call 398-4900 • 4) Call one of McGill’s SPOT Education Coordinators: • Caroline Storr, Michèle Hébertor Susanne Mak

  7. Professionalism (cont’d) • If student is held accountable: • Supervisor assumes primary responsibility for the client BUT • Students are aware: • Assess/treat not without supervisor’s knowledge • Follow facility’s procedures • Have documents co-signed by supervisor
