The Dogs Everywhere Movement, led by Adam Hough, advocates for bringing dogs into classroom settings at Salt Lake City Community College. This initiative has shown potential benefits, such as improving the classroom atmosphere, boosting student attitudes, and reducing gas usage by allowing students to remain on campus. However, challenges like registration costs and potential distractions exist. A trial run demonstrated that students with dogs in class improved their GPA. Expanding this initiative could yield even more positive results for student engagement and well-being.
