  2. Laconic (Adjective) Not saying much; brief, concise, succinct He has a laconic wit. For a long time, the laws applicable to hunting with hounds have remained very laconic.

  4. Meander (Verb) To wander around aimlessly The Arthurian knights did not meander around the countryside. They went straight to their quests. Many students meanderin the hallways after the bell has run.

  5. Apex (Noun) The tip, peak, summit, highest point Many mountain climbers try to reach the apex of Mount Everest. You are not at the apex of your life.

  6. Nadir (Noun) Absolute bottom, the lowest point When people feel that they have hit nadir, they can become depressed. A valley contains the nadir of a mountain range.

  7. Disseminate/Disperse (Verb) To dispense objects, spread, distribute You need to disseminate the information about the school musical. Birds can disperse seeds over long distances.

  8. Emaciated (Adjective) To be obsessively thin or weak People who do not eat become emaciated. When we found the dog, he was emaciated from being tied up and not fed.
