  1. Extenuating Circumstances If you submit work or sit an examination you are confirming that you are fit to do so. Extenuating circumstances can only be claimed for late submission (up to 10 working days) or non-submission of an assessment. For further information on ‘how to claim extenuating circumstances’ go to the registry documents section on Learning Space You can also contact the Academic Advice Co-ordinator in Student Support for further advice.

Extenuating Circumstances Deadlines for receipt of claims:- For Semester B / Term 2 – Monday 11th June, 2012 For Term 3 – Monday 2nd July, 2012 For the resit session – Friday 24th August, 2012 Please note that claims should be submitted by the end of the the semester or term in which the work was affected

Examination & Results Information 2011-12 Examinations:- Semester B – Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th June, 2012 Undergraduate & PGCE Results Results will be available via Learning Space on Friday 20th July, 2012 after 2pm (Appeals can only be made after the results are published and the deadline for lodging an intention to appeal against these decisions is Friday 3rd August, 2012)

  4. Resits & Results Information 2011-12 Resits:- Resit work will be available on LearningSpaceor other means made known to you by the Module Leader. Resit Examinations – week commencing 20th August, 2012 Resit Coursework deadline – Monday 20th August, 2012 Resit Results Resit results will be available via LearningSpaceon Friday 14th September, 2012 after 2pm (Appeals can only be made after the results are published and the deadline for lodging an intention to appeal against these decisions is Friday 28th September, 2012)
