  3. The mission of the University-Industry Demonstration Partnership is to nourish and expand collaborative partnerships between university and industry in the United States. UIDP Mission and Values Results – Developing New, Bold Approaches; Implementing New Approaches Impact- Increased and Enhanced U-I Partnerships Mode of Operation Networking Learning Building Trust Community- Different people can get different outcomes to suit their needs

  4. Guiding Principles for U-I Partnerships • Support the mission of each partner • Focus on fostering appropriate, long term partnerships • Seek to streamline negotiations to ensure timely conduct of the research and the development of research findings
