CSC Readout Fibers 25.Nov.2013 • Clarify components: • ROD – MPO ribbon (~80 m) – Patch Panel on Small Wheel Structure – MPO ribbon with fan out (~10 m) in proximity of the chamber? • OTDR: too tight cuts? • OTDR measurements to be completed on A side • After the cleaning of the patch panel in the PIT? • After the closure of the side A? • OTDR measurements to be done on C side • After the cleaning of the patch panel in the PIT? • After lowering the wheel? • Is it safe/useful to clean at the patch panel? • How many spares are usable? • Do we want to install more spares?
