List of Priority Outputs and Responsible Actors OUTPUT 2(b).1 Capacity of Psychosocial services provided and improved • Conduct a study to assess the capacity gaps and needs of actors involved in provision of counselling, psychosocial and spiritual support to PHA and affected families • Training service providers in counselling psychosocial and support) at institutional and community levels (MGLSD, TASO,MoH)

Cont’d… • Facilitate the deployment of trained service providers to the areas of need (UAC, LGs,MoH) (Justification- as per Mapping Report) • Develop support supervision and M&E mechanism • Train service providers on mental health services in and out of the health system and community(MoH) • Equipping health facilities with mental Drugs (MoH) • Strengthening a referral system in HIV/AIDS services (MoH)

Contd… OUTPUT 2(b).2 The rights of PHAs are known and protected • Develop training curriculum for training change agents for human rights and freedoms of PHAs • Train key change agents and institutions on the rights and fundamental freedoms of PHAs (including PHAs, religious leaders, Human Rights units, etc) • Support the UHRC to complete documentation of the rights and violations of PHAs • Production and Dissemination of IEC materials on the rights of PHAs(MoH, NAFOFANU, UNASO, UHRC,UAC, MGLSD) • Review and simplify existing laws and guidelines in a user-friendly version.

  5. Cont’d… OUTPUT 2.3 The Strategy for supporting OVCs harmonised and Disseminated • Disseminate and OVC policy and strategy to all districts • Support districts to develop action plans for the implementation of the OVC policy

  6. Cont’d… • Initiate cope up services including IGAs to OVCs (e.g Life skills Training and linkages to MFIs and local artisans) • Support and facilitate District Planning units to update OVC registration system (MGLSD, LGs, CSOs)

  7. Cont’d… OUTPUT 2.4 Economic empowerment of OVCs • Training OVCs in entrepreneurship (vocational skills)
