Ethernet Cable Color and Ethernet Distribution Frame Exceptions ATT-NOTICE-000-003-989, Issue 1, 10-15-10 Ethernet cables will normally be manufactured and deployed with gray-colored outer jackets and Ethernet circuits will normally be cabled to an intermediate Ethernet Distribution Frame. This document details exceptions to the use of gray-colored outer jackets and Ethernet Distribution Frames. The following exceptions to deployment of Gray-Only-Outer Jackets of Ethernet Cable Deployment of Ethernet Circuits involving an Ethernet Distribution Frame are: 4
