More Successful Community Efforts • Uinta County • Alcohol restrictions were enforced at a demolition derby, resulting in only one alcohol related arrest. • State of UT asked to use the AAMP room as a ‘blueprint’ for UT schools. • An independent poll was take in Mountain View Nov. 2010 on support for a smoke-free ordinance, showing an overwhelming response in favor. The City Council said they would act upon the results. • Across the State: • In most counties across the state, a texting tip line has been implemented. Most counties are seeing positive effects from this tip line. • Across the state, City Councils are in the stages of creating and implementing SPICE ordinances as well as stronger hosting laws.
