Rykov January 16, 2004 Simulation model • pp@200 GeV: PYTHIA,MSEL=1, PTJet>10 GeV/c. • Central AuAu@200 GeVNN:HIJING. • PISA withthe current VTX geometry in CVS. • Analysis chain with the primitivegeneration of VTX signals (Rawhits) from GEANT hits (Ghits) with no charge sharing between pixels/strips. Manabu Togawa promised to write some more reasonable code soon. Expect the the things to get worse by a factor of 1.5-2-?? … In the plots: • Column, from left to right= Barrel VTX layer • Upper row= x-strip or pixel channels • Lower row = u-strip channels
