  2. Habitat • African Lions live in the African savannah, where the climate is very hot.

  3. Diet • Lions are carnivorous animals they eat meat. They love to feast on: Wildebeest, Impalas, and Zebra.

  4. Appearance • Lions are usually a dirty-yellowish color, they have a short coat, males have a mane that surrounds the face, this varies in color.

  5. Details • A male lion’s mane is supposed to protect his jugular artery in there neck when fighting with others. • All lions roar! Even very young lions do. A lions roar can be heard 5 miles away.
