Legislation and International Agreements • Priority of the development of intermodal transport. • Programme for the Development of Combined Transport in the Republic of Bulgaria until 2010. • Regulation on combined transport of goods. • AGTC, AGC, AGN, AGR. • Bilateral Agreements on international combined transport of goods. • Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Bulgaria establishing certain conditions for the carriage of goods by road and the promotion of combined transport.

Pan-European Transport Corridor 4 • Engagements of the Bulgarian Government towards future development of the corridor • Construction of a New Sofia Intermodal Terminal; • Construction of a New Danube Bridge at Vidin - Calafat ; • Electrification and Reconstruction of the Railway Line Plovdiv - Turkish/Greek Border for Speeds 160/200 km/h; • Reconstruction and Modernization of the Railway Line Vidin-Sofia-Kulata.
