This study explores the role of GFP-tagged JBP1 in JBP1 knockout (KO) models, specifically focusing on the effects of mutations H189A and D191A on protein function. The variants are analyzed for their physiological impact in various experimental conditions, with insights derived from antibody binding (α-GFP) assays. Additionally, we provide comparative data on wild-type (WT) JBP1 to elucidate the functional characteristics of the mutants. These findings are represented in Suppl. Fig. 6, contributing to the understanding of JBP1's molecular mechanisms.
