  1. THE LORD’S DAY

  2. (Rev 1:1) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

  3. Revelation • The Daniel Connection • Daniel writes of the same subject in • the Old Testament, just not as in • detail as John • The reason for the lack of detail in • Daniel is…

  4. (Dan 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end…

  5. (Rev 19:9-10) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

  6. (Rev 22:8) And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. (Rev 22:9) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (Rev 22:10) And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

  7. (Dan 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (Rev 22:10) And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

  8. Revelation • Argument #1 • It is an Angel that is • leading him and Daniel is not an angel.

  9. Answer #1 (Mat 22:30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

  10. Revelation • Argument #2 • Why would God refer to him (Daniel) as a angel?

  11. Answer #2 (Exo 3:2) And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. (Exo 3:4) And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
