  1. Steps to perform 26AS registration

  2. Go to www.incometaxindia.gov.in and Click on “View Your Tax Credit”.

  5. Click on hyperlink in option 1

  6. Screen for new user registration or login as existing user

  7. After clicking on “Register", enter PAN and press “Click Me” ABCDE9999F

  8. Enter the required details ABCDE9999F Sharma

  9. A message indicating the report submission request along with file name is displayed. Sharma Sharma 9999911111

  10. Message on successful registration and subsequent instructions to activate account is displayed.

  11. You will receive the confirmation mail from the E filing website with the link to activate the account. • Click on the link given in the mail.

  12. After clicking on hyperlink in mail.

  13. Login with userid(PAN) and password ABCDE9999F

  14. Go to “My Account” and click on “View Tax Credit Statement(Form 26AS)” option.

  15. Input the assessment year and date of birth/Incorporation to proceed. ABCDE9999F

  16. Click on “Confirm” button to proceed
