WWK Careers In E.S.S. Unit 2: Intro to E.S.S.
Atmospheric Scientist Things that are focused on: • Climatology: the study of long-term weather/temperature trends. • Dynamic meteorology: the study of motions of the atmosphere • Cloud Physics: formation and evolution of the clouds and precipitation • Atmospheric chemistry: the study of chemical reactions in the atmosphere • Oceanography: the study of Earth's oceans and their effects the atmosphere
Oceanographer • Oceanographers: • Help us gain an understanding of how our oceans and living creatures work as an ecosystem. • Large amount of jobs: engineers, marine biologists, and zoologists. People that have skills in these areas are often involved in oceanography because Earth has more ocean area than land area.
Geologist • Geology is the study of solid earth and its rocks/minerals. Geologists understand the forces which help shape Earth, and use this to predict their affect on man. With geologists help, we have a complete, accurate picture of our planet.
