  3. Answer The answer is C-natural harbors. Notice how the colonies are located by the Atlantic Ocean. Location by the Atlantic Ocean allowed for the colonies to trade with England and France. Cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Baltimore all became wealthy due to their location on the Atlantic Ocean. Their harbors allowed for their citizens to get things that they needed for survival.
