  1. Pictures that inspire me Marcus Del Prete

  2. Still Life Before an Open Window • This painting was made in 1915. • This was painted by Juan Gris. • The painting is an abstract painting that captures the outside with the inside.

  3. Still Life Before an Open Window I chose this painting for multiple reasons. One being that it represents one of my many conflicts in life. Whether to be inside, or outside. Another reason I chose this was to represent my love for abstract art. The way an artist can convey an idea so eloquently with shapes and boxes instead of drawing like in realism.

  4. Bullfight, Suerte De Varas Bullfight, Suerte De Varas is a painting by Francisco de Goya. This was painted in 1824, and captures the cruelty of bullfighting.

  5. Bullfight, Suerte de Varas I chose this picture because it portrays the cruelty of Bullfighting. I also picked this picture because it shows that they are scared of the bull even though they are they are the aggressor. It shows how people can be very aggressive on the outside yet quite scared on the inside.

  6. View of Toledo View of Toledo was painted in 1596 by El Greco. This painting is one of the two surviving landscapes created by El Gringo. This painting makes El Gringo the first landscaper in the history of Spanish art.

  7. View of Toledo I chose this painting because it because is painted so beautifully. The overcasting clouds promote an ominous mood for the painting unmatched by others. The houses are painted meticulously well and the grass and shrubbery are detailed precisely. The texture on the water is flowing and correctly done.
