  6. Pray INFaith Expectantly Specifically

  7. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians12:7-9

  8. Prayer Releases Power

  9. “The hardest moments in life are when you’ve prayed hard, but the answer is no, And you don’t know why. And you may never know why. That is the litmus test of trust.” Mark Batterson “Circle Maker”

  10. Consider him who endured suchoppositionfrom sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. • Hebrews 12:3

  11. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” • Mark 2:16-17

  12. Is anyone among you in Spiritually sick? Let them pray. Is anyone happy?Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you Spiritually sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them • with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith willmake the Spiritually sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and prayfor each other so that you may be healed. • The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

  13. 2 Cor 4:16-18- Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
