  1. Jamie Lehberger Third Grade My name is Jamie Lehberger, and I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching third grade at Northwood Hills Elementary! So how did I get here? Before joining NHE in 2010, I grew up in very close-knit military family, as my father served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years before retiring in 2004. Through my experience as an “Air Force Brat,”  I had the opportunity to live in many places across the globe, including Ohio, Washington, the Philippines, Germany, (and of course), Texas! My parents and younger sister still reside in Burleson, Texas while my older brother travels the world in my father’s footsteps as a member of the USAF. The final member of my family is one of the canine variety – Penelope the pug! We are still working on her reading skills, however, she is quite skilled at chasing her tail. Apart from Northwood Hills, my favorite school would have to be my alma-mater, Texas A&M University (Whoop)! I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and teaching certifications in grades Pre-K – 6th and English as a Second Language (ESL).  The countless wonderful experiences I had while attending Texas A&M established my decision to become an elementary school teacher while lending me the knowledge and know-how I needed to help me be successful in my career! I could not be more excited to be a part of the fantastic team here at NHE! My students and I will work hard to set goals and exceed our own expectations through focused, fun, and involved learning that will help every student to be successful!
