  2. President: Kristen Slamaremail: apo.oe.president@gmail.com • October 23rd, 2010: Theta Epsilon is going to be hosting a Section 50 Mini Conference at Illinois State University. The purpose of this conference is to promote and talkabout the Nationals Convention and have some workshops. More information should be coming out about the conference in the next week. • This is from the new section 50 chair. He asks that we follow section 50 on twitter and follow/contribute to the following blog. Here are the links for those who are interested:http://twitter.com/APOSec50Chairhttp://aposec50chair.wordpress.com/ • Make sure to dress Business Casual for initiation next week. This is a REQUIRED MEETING. Please arrive at 8:45. If for some reason you can’t attend, send your reason to Savannah at sdavis2@iwu.edu • If you don’t sign up for a committee by Friday, you will be assigned a committee by the exec board. Please note that it might not be the one you want if you don’t sign up yourself.

They would receive an extra hour for it. • Run the Woods, Saturday, October 2nd • 5K, need help with registration at 7:30 am • IWU Internship Fair • 3:30-7 • Boys and Girls Club • Anyone interested in volunteering needs to fill out an application and have a background check. VP Fellowship: AdebolaOlayinkaemail: apo.oe.fellowship@gmail.com • Steak ‘n Shake after today’s meeting! • First home soccer game on Wednesday, September 15th at 7:30 • Fabulous 50’s night at the indoor skate rink (Pepsi Ice Center), Friday, September 17th, 8-9:30pm • $5 entrance, $2 skate rental, but there are discount group prices! • Pumpkin Festival on Saturday the 18th • Occurs in the town of Morton, which is about a 30 minute drive • Active Retreat! • Tentatively September 25th around 1pm • horseback riding in Moraine View State Park, which is a 2 hour ride • It costs money but there are group discounts. • Bring your own lunch! Gatorade encouraged!
