  1. Bell Ringer - Tues. Sept. 13 • First, write a ONE SENTENCE summary of “Coyote and the Buffalo”. Remember to include the WHO (characters), WHERE/WHEN (setting), and WHAT (conflict/problem/solution) • Fill in the back side of your homework according to the story. You might not be able to fill in every box, but remember to fill in an EXAMPLE, an EXPLANATION, and a PAGE number in the boxes that you CAN fill in.

  2. Group Directions • Get with your “shape” group • Start with the “Cultural Traditions” box on “The World on the Turtle’s Back” . Each member will share the example and quote that he/she came up with. • As a group, decide which example/quote you’d like to share with the class. • Repeat for all of the boxes (“WotTB” and “CatB”) • I will pix a box for your group to share!
