Empowering Young Professionals: AIAA Albuquerque Section Initiatives

The AIAA Albuquerque Section's Young Professionals (YPs) are actively engaging in various initiatives to support and empower their community. They are organizing a student paper conference to foster academic development and collaboration. Additionally, they are restoring a vintage WWII plane for the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, enhancing historical appreciation. Efforts to collect and analyze contact information for YPs in Region IV are underway, along with a survey to gather feedback on improving AIAA's value for young professionals, spearheaded by Dr. Ryan Weisman.

Deputy Director – Young Professionals • Albuquerque section has YPs to support student paper conference* • Albuquerque section YPs will help restore a vintage WWII plane for the nuclear science museum* • Collected contact information for all YPs in region IV • Working on a survey to solicit feedback about improving AIAA value for YPs – will distribute to region IV and possibly all YPs if it is appropriate *Dr. Ryan Weisman is coordinating these efforts
