Why learn another language?

As the new teaching year commences, I wanted my Year 5 class to reflect on the significance of language learning. By encouraging them to create speech bubbles aimed at motivating younger students, they explored reasons why learning another language is beneficial. To inspire them further, I shared insightful comments from previous students found in the Languages framework. The activity not only sparked enthusiasm for language learning but also fostered a supportive learning environment where students recognize the value of communication across cultures.
