  5. Libraries • Libraries的數目沒有限制 • 要有足夠的硬碟空間 • 為進行中的paper或project建立個別的library，儲存參考引用的文獻 • 建一個main library儲存所有的參考文獻 • Project完成後將library的所有參考文獻copy到main library • 一個EndNote library的參考文獻筆數沒有限制 • 但EndNote 建議不要超過10萬筆，以維資料庫的運作效能

  6. 建立新的Library • File  New • 為新library命名 • 產生延伸檔名為.enl之EndNote library • 產生.DATA之資料夾放置儲存之PDF、圖片等檔案 • 工具列 • Save • 指定正確的路徑，儲存已命名library • EndNote顯示一空白的new library

  12. Import 輸入資料 • 自行輸入 • 書籍、期刊、會議文件、論文 • 從資料庫直接將資料匯入 • 從資料庫下載純文字檔案利用Filter匯入 • 從EndNote查詢網站並將資料轉入

  13. 自行輸入 • References New Reference (Ctrl+N) • 開啟空白的參考文獻視窗 • 從Reference Type中選擇參考文獻類型 • 逐欄輸入書目資料 • 插入附件 • 關閉參考文獻視窗 • File menu > Close Reference(CTRL + W) • (點右上角的ｘ) • 參考文獻自動新增到指定的library或修改

  15. 自行輸入 • Author, Editor • 輸入全名較佳，如下兩種格式 • Last name first (ex. Wurman, Richard Saul ) • First name first (ex. Richard Saul Wurman ) • 一位作者一行(輸入一位作者，按Enter) • 若所輸入的作者是新作者，會以紅色顯示；儲存後自動變成黑色 • 作者、書刊名、關鍵字，若library中已有，在輸入前幾個字時，會自動顯示完整的姓名、刊名、關鍵字 • 團體作者在最後加上逗號，以資辨識例：National Cheng Kung University,

  16. 自行輸入 • 書名 • 結尾有多餘的空白時，書目格式不會顯示句號 • 版次：只要輸入版次序號(10th) • 出版地：州名需輸入二位字母代碼 • ex. 加州為CA，而非Calif. • 頁碼 • 完整頁碼，例：125-146 • 節縮頁碼，例：125-46 • 頁碼不可以用三位數撇節法 ( ex.1,235 ) • 期刊論文 • Year：指年代 • Date：輸入月、季

  17. 插入圖片 將捲軸拉至image欄位 工具列：Reference Insert picture 按右鍵： Insert picture 選擇欲加入之圖片檔案 在Caption欄內輸入說明 關閉視窗，Endnote自動儲存並回到reference library視窗 插入物件 將捲軸拉至File Attachments欄位 工具列：Reference  File Attachments Attach file 按右鍵： Insert file 物件可以是圖、PPT、PDF等各種檔案 插入檔案 存到.DATA的資料夾中 存到.DATA的資料夾中
