Reinforce content literacy • MOMA - Art - descriptions of exhibitions • First Year French at UT - audio • Discover Spanish - a companion website • CDC - CDC over 80 different health topics • Classical Performance - WGBG broadcasts • American Shakespeare Company - discussions • CSS Tricks - Screencast movie tutorials

  6. Find the Good Stuff • Select iTunes U. • Put in your search term.

  7. Navigation and Viewing Change the way content appears. Navigate back, forward and home.

  8. Get it Free! Sort by price by clicking on the header.

  9. Read Your Results Even when searching for podcastsapps or other items appear in the results.Often a video podcast will specify that in the title.

  10. Save your podcasts • Search for relevant content • Click subscribe or get episode • Go to your Podcast and listen to downloaded content High school chemistry

  11. Move them to your iPod • Sync automatically only if you are a single computer user. • Sync manually if you use more than one computer.

  12. Placing podcasts in your HAPG’s • Find the podcast and copy it to your resources folder. • My Computer>My Documents>My Music>iTunes • Create a link in your HAPG document to the file.

  16. Downloading and Installing iTunes

  17. Getting iTunes Go to the following web address: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

  18. Download iTunes • Uncheck the boxes and click the blue button • It is unnecessary to put in your email address.

  19. Save the file Save it on your desktop. Click Save

  20. Install • Close your browser window • Double-click on the file iTunesSetup • Follow the program prompts to install the iTunes software
