  2. Setting and Character Setting Character The characters were Ramona, Beezus, Mom, dad, Willa Jean, Yard ape, Picky Picky, Howie, Mrs. Whaley, Mrs. Larsen, Grandma, Strange Man, Mrs. Kemp, Marsha, The children. If I were Ramona it would not be fun • The setting takes place at school, home, and the kitchen. • Something I noticed was that it happened in 1 or 2 days.

  3. Ramona • Ramona tan skin, black hair, black eyes and short. In the beginning of the book Ramona was kind of mean and towards the end of the book she was nice. She was in third grade and I am to. Once they cooked dinner I remember when I helped my mom cook. I think Ramona was kind of weird. Howie was Ramona’s friend. Bezzus was kind of nice to Ramona. I think Yard Ape liked Ramona.

  4. Author’s Purpose • Ramona’s problem was to be nicer to people. She was nice to the end of the book because she had been taught a lesson. I think Ramona learned to be nice because Yard Ape taught her a lesson. I learned to be nice in this book and not eat tongue.

  5. Book Recommendation • I would think someone should read this book because its funny, teaches lessons, and is kind of gross. Ramona was mean in the beginning and in the end she was very nice. I would recommend this book to someone because it is very funny. Ramona’s in third grade just like me and she cooks dinner. Judy Moody and Juine B. are a lot like Ramona.

  6. Connections • Ramona’s like my sister alot.TTS Ramona reminds me of my little brother because he is very funny.TTS

  7. Creating Images • The images I created in my mind were when Ramona was sick and so was I. I touched it when Ramona touched the chicken. I saw when Ramona was in the bus.
